Work resembles the choices we make when we decide to go on vacation. People are very different from each other: some love adventures and go on an impromptu journey without a defined destination; others prefer to plan everything or always go to the same place; still others love the certainty and carefreeness of a holiday village or a cruise. I have friends and valued colleagues in all three of these categories. I myself, working-wise, was an employee for the first 10 years and an entrepreneur for the next 20. He chooses whether he likes a client or not, selects the people who will work with him and, above all, he can manage his own time. Maximum freedom in exchange for great responsibility. The employee - unless he is a high-level manager - has some certainties and fewer responsibilities, but in exchange he must live in an ecosystem of people he cannot replace
Often has time obligations and does not decide the direction in which to go . You can't have everything: every choice in life involves sacrifices and advantages. So, before deciding whether to be dependent or independent, we must deal with ourselves, with our character, our fears and the goal of our life. “It is what we get from what we have, not what is given to us, that separates one person from another ,” claimed Nelson Mandela . Deceiving ourselves that we are free in a situation in which we potentially could be, but which we do not know how to manage, means finding ourselves in a prison whose chains are called "stress".
